  1. You are Right-on Dr. Steve, and your suggestions are just plain commonsense and so helpful.I’m praying that our families strongly minimize the devices and maximize the good-old-fashioned family togetherness. And sleep better and longer.

Thank you and Kathy for doing so much for essential sleep health.

    Blessings, jim hales 12-22-19

  2. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for my sleep dentist who recommended me to come see you. I’ve been slowly going through your archive of podcasts on my commute to work everyday and have even incorporated the important ones during family dinnertime so my wife can listen and learn.

I am truly sick and tired of being sick and tired. 2019 was a long year of many health issues and I’d been to numerous different kinds of doctors that could not explain the root cause of my multiple symptoms. On my first consultation to see you, it was as if you didn’t even need to talk to me to know what I’d been through and connect the dots.

For the new year, my family has focused on doing an inventory of toxins in our house and I’m making sure to get enough sleep everyday with a consistent sleep schedule. I feel like it’s a start to a long journey and I’ve begun chronicling it to share with all my friends and family.

I need to find a way to fix my suffering but most importantly to learn and teach my kids to live a healthier life. Looking forward to 2020 with all I’ve learned!

  3. We have started to implement most if not all of these strategies! We have removed all the toxins in our house (we love branch basics for our cleaning supplies and force of nature!). We have two boys age 4 & 6. We value sleep in our house and make sure to have a consistent bedtime routine every night so our children know that sleep is coming. We have a early bedtime, dim our lights, read books, no screen time.

Even though they were clocking the quantity of hours, the quality just didn’t seem right. And we started on this journey 6 months ago to see processional’s. They were diagnosed with mild Obstructive Sleep Apnea and are seeing a holistic dentist for an appliance (ALF), Dr. Park will be doing surgery to remove tonsils and adenoids and will do myofuntional therapy.

We started certain vitamins and supplements. We don’t over schedule our kids and allow plenty of downtime and time out in nature.

The only thing I haven’t really tried is the essential oils and will be adding to our list. Yes, this could all be so overwhelming, but we slowly changed our lifestyle and making a difference!
