This was the most comprehensive explanation of the relationship between allergies, apnea and reflux problems I've ever come across- everything makes more sense. I was about to go for an apnea test and since I suspected allergies being a major problem, I didn't know if the testing even made sense, given that the apnea didn't seem to be an "independent" phenomenon. Also, in the last year+, I had developed reflux, seemingly out of nowhere, accompanied by by ever worse sleeping patterns ( more like not sleeping, with naps inbetween wake times) and never thought that too was connected with the other symptoms. ( and I'm a 63 yr old woman with tonsils, usually somewhat enlarged, and an very small jaw, per my dentists). So, no surprise I have been exhausted during the day ...
This is such a helpful site - i will be sharing it wil friends who also report apnea problems.Thank you
